Find out more about Panagiota: Panagiota is an SPL (State Policy Liaison) for the National Patient Advocate Foundation. As an SPL, she encourages legislative and regulatory reforms that increase access to needed medical care and delivers advocacy messages to state legislators who need a patient perspective during the policy-making process. She also participates as a citizen advocate in public forums determining regulatory conditions that affect access issues for needed therapies, and educates and advocates on specific access-to-care principles with legislators, regulatory officials, and other stakeholders.
