Yes, sad but true. Along with the Cross Town Classic, the opening day of the Chicago Movies in the Parks Film Festivals taking place throughout Chicagoland was rained out.
Don't be discouraged. I know for a fact that River North postponed the viewing of The Dark Knight so check the Chicago Park District website and your local neighborhood associations for updates to see if last nights movies will be shown again at another date and time.
