Most kids have night lights in their rooms, but wouldn’t it be cool to be sleeping under the light of the moon, literally? Moon in My Room, by a company called Uncle Milton, is a cool toy that creates the illusion of the moon right in your child’s bedroom. It features a show (automatic or manual) with the 12 phases of the moon, and for older kids, has an accompanying CD so kids can learn more about this amazing planet.

Moon in My Room is battery operated and can hang from any wall. Not only is it a beautiful light to look at, but it can evoke the imaginations of young minds into dreaming about all different kinds of adventures. And, any toy that keeps kids in bed and helps them fall asleep peacefully is a pick in my book. Each week I will feature a creative, imaginative and fun toy that has been kid-tested and approved.
