Summer is upon us and one of the highlights of this season for every kid is the frequent visit from the ice cream truck. The unmistakable chimes and bells are sure to bring kids out from every nook and cranny of the neighborhood, but three months of summer and that ice cream cone bill can tally up to quite an expense. You can avoid all the unnecessary sugar and high fructose corn syrup that’s undoubtedly present in those manufactured snow cones and make them yourself. The maker comes with 5 paper cups, 1 spoon, 1 bottle with cap for mixing the flavor packet, a metal grate, a hand crank with locking cup, and an instruction sheet. Best of all, it’s so easy to use -- kids love cranking the wheel with their own hands to create these delicious treats.
