Maclaren, a popular stroller manufacturer, just announced a voluntary recall of all strollers sold in the U.S. from 1999 to present due to a finger laceration/amputation hazard from a hinge on the strollers. According to the recall notice, the affected models include Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport (shown), Quest Mod, Techno XT, Techno XLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno and Easy Traveller.
If you own a Maclaren stroller, please complete this order form online to have a hinge kit sent to you, free of charge. There is no need to return the strollers back to Maclaren, but the company urges consumers to stop using the strollers until the hinge has been covered.
