For some, the beauty of the Twilight Saga ends with a kindled romance. For others, however, the vampire world is the original allure of the books. This summer, consider expanding your vampire novel repertoire.

The vampire series receiving the most rumbling is The Southern Vampire Series by Charlaine Harris. These easy- read novels featuring Sookie Stackhouse provide the bones for HBO’s True Blood.
