Tori Spelling, known for her iconic role as Donna Martin on “Beverly Hills, 90210” and the new “90210,” is now taking on the real-life role of a children’s author.
Spelling told In Touch that she just finished the text of the children’s book and that it will be launching in about a year. Spelling has already authored two books, sTORI Telling and Mommywood, about her life in the Hollywood spotlight and as a new mother to Liam, 2, and Stella, 1. So, it makes sense that her next book would be one that she can read to her children.
Meanwhile, Spelling revealed that her son Liam’s favorite book is Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown.
“I introduced him to that because when I was little, my mom used to read that to me and I loved it!” said Spelling in the In Touch interview.
Spelling, her husband, Dean McDermott, and their children can be seen weekly on their reality show, “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” on Oxygen. A new web series based on the reality show and the book Mommywood was also recently launched.
In addition to writing and acting, Spelling also has a jewelry line and a children’s clothing line.
