'90210' earns nods for 'Teen Choice Awards 2009'

The nominees have been announced for the "Teen Choice Awards 2009," with "90210" making its way onto the ballots.

Teens can vote online for their favorite nominated movies, actors, musicians, sports heroes, and more. The CW’s "90210" has six nominations this year: TV Show: Drama; TV Breakout Show; TV Actor: Dustin Milligan (Ethan Ward, who is apparently leaving “90210”); TV Breakout Star Female: AnnaLynne McCord (Naomi Clark); TV Breakout Star Male: Tristan Wilds (Dixon Wilson); TV Parental Unit: Rob Estes and Lori Loughlin (Harry and Debbie Wilson).

Leading the nominations this year is the movie, "Twilight," and its cast with 12 nominations, followed closely behind by "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" and its cast, Miley Cyrus, and "Gossip Girl," all with 10 nominations each.

Winners of the Teen Choice Awards 2009 surfboards will be announced during the two-hour broadcast on August 10 at 8 p.m. (eastern) on Fox. The Jonas Brothers will host the broadcast from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA, according to a press release. Musical guests and presenters are to be announced.

Fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day for their favorite nominees here.
