Actor Greg Vaughan has announced on his Twitter page that he will be appearing on “90210.”
Vaughan, who played the role of Lucky Spencer on “General Hospital” since 2003, was recently replaced by Jonathan Jackson, who originated the role of Lucky on the popular soap opera. Fans of Vaughan can celebrate, though, as he will soon be returning to television on the CW’s “90210.”
Vaughan “tweeted” on Wednesday:
I'm officially making my return to the NEW 90210 tomorrow!! I'm 100% thankful for all your love & support! God Bless You All!!! HAHAHA
And on Thursday:
Second, 90210!! Great seeing old faces! Jenny Garth laughed too, but I will not be bringing you Cliff Yeagar/fireman! Good for a few laughs.
Vaughan played a recurring role on the original “Beverly Hills, 90210,” as fireman Cliff Yeager who dated Donna Martin (Tori Spelling). Spelling and Jennie Garth have both reprised their roles as Donna and Kelly Taylor on the new “90210” series (as well as a few others who reprised their roles); however, Spelling has yet to return for season two. Too bad Vaughan isn't playing fireman Cliff again, as that would be a great way to bring Spelling back to the show.
"90210" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on the CW network.
