This could be an excellent example of why you should be careful while making a phone call: A man from Bedminster, Pennsylvania apparently dialed 911, though he really intended to call Jamaica. He hung up when he realized what he did, but because of the suspicious call, police arrived at his house and found over 17 pounds of marijuana.

The number that has to be dialed to reach Jamaica from the United States is 011 and the 876 area code. You could probably guess where he made the mistake when he dialed the number.
His house is currently being seized by authorities, and he is facing prison time as well. He and his wife have already been convicted of drug-related charges and were scheduled to be sentenced this coming April.
