Theatre Resources Unlimited was formed to promote a spirit of cooperation and support within the general theatre community by providing information and entertainment-related services and resources that strengthen the capacity of producing organizations, individual producers, self-producing artists and other theatre professionals. In addition to producing two reading festivals of new works annually (one for musicals and one for plays), the organization also provides a number of opportunities throughout the year for members and prospective members to connect with venerated producers and theatre professionals while discussing key aspects of the theatre business.
