Taylor Swift will host Saturday Night Live, teenager style.

Her ex boyfriend is Joe Jonas, and at the last Video Music Awards, Kanye West stole her spotlight when he crashed her acceptance speech for Best Female Video in an embarrassing attempt to defend Beyoncé, who went on to win the award for Best Video, and gave Swift her moment of glory back. That alone makes Taylor Swift an interesting enough choice for a Saturday Night Live host, without even mentioning her incredibly successful musical career. As the top teenager in country music, her album "Fearless" has sold more than 4 million copies so far.

According to AP, Taylor Swift (19) said, "I've been thinking about skit ideas for a long time," adding, "There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits." By that, of course, she has to mean the VMA's Kanye West debacle. Furthermore, she has described the upcoming episode of SNL as "mind-blowing," saying, "I love being around people who I feel have a different kind of creative genius. And the funny genius is definitely a fascinating one to be around."

About collaborating with Adam Samberg on a digital short music video, Justin Timberlake style, Taylor Swift said, "Of course I've been such a fan for a long time, but I've gone back and re-watched everything over the past couple of months and digital shorts would be so much fun to do, because they've been done so well. Andy Samberg is hilarious."

Taylor Swift is no stranger to television these days, being also set to appear on Dancing With The Stars on October 27th.

Saturday Night Live with Taylor Swift airs on Saturday, November 7th, at 11.30pm.
