This is not about Ackerman McQueen. This isn't about Chesapeake or OG and E, or any other of Ackerman's client. This is about the MAYOR OF OKLAHOMA CITY and the APPEARANCE OF WRONG-DOING. Ackerman-McQueen also handles advertising and public relations for HUGE CLIENTS locally like Chesapeake Energy, OG and E, Integris Health, BancFirst, The Chickasaw Nation, The Oklahoma State Fair, The Oklahoman, The Oklahoma City Thunder, and The Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, among others. The same Ackerman-McQueen that contains within it sub-groups with various connections to the city. Oklahoma Events is owned by Ackerman, and run by Ackerman-McQueen's Vice Chairman, Lee Allen Smith.
