Like a snowball rolling down hill, the advocates of abortion that are tied to Glenn Coffee’s lawsuit reform bill have unwittingly “outed” themselves less than 24 hours after a Oklahoma Political News Service report tied pro-abortion doctors to the process.
State Rep. Pam Peterson, R-Tulsa, is blasting Oklahoma’s three largest chambers of commerce after they began lobbying Gov. Henry to veto a stem cell research bill that pro-life groups say defends innocent human life.
“The chambers’ support of embryonic stem cell research as an ‘economic growth’ tool is a shocking violation of the public trust and basic moral values,” said Peterson, R-Tulsa. “The chamber is effectively advocating the worst kind of discrimination based on age, size and place of residence.”
Rep. Peterson’s release clearly demonstrates that the pro-lawsuit reform chambers of commerce are as deeply immersed in pro-abortion politics as they are so-called tort reform. And one other bit of proof: capitol observers say leading doctors are out at the capitol promoting Henry’s veto of the bill, further validating the central theme of Monday’s OKPNS revelations.
