In advance of the November elections, the ADAMS Center community is expecting a visit from U. S. Senator James Webb (D-Va), Virginia State Senator, Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Creigh Deeds (D-25th district), and Delegate David Poisson (D-32nd district) on Friday, September 4.  They are expected to arrive at approximately 1:00 pm to attend the 1:15 pm Friday congregational prayer, followed by an address to the community.

ADAMS members and families are encouraged to attend in order to welcome and meet the elected officials, and to help show the size and diversity represented by the community.   Although their time is limited, Senator Deeds, Delegate Poisson, and Senator Webb will welcome comments and questions.

The community similarly welcomed Virginia Attorney General, and Republican gubernatorial candidate, Bob McDonnell to the Center on Aug 14.

ADAMS Center is a 501(c)(3) organization.  As such, ADAMS welcomes candidates from all parties to visit and to attend its events.  ADAMS does not endorse any candidates.  Official support of ADAMS or its leadership is not implied by these visits, which are simply a way for the community to get to know the candidates and their positions.
