Tickets to 'Pearls of the Qur'an,' the three-day spiritual retreat to be held in Herndon, Virginia, November 6-8, have sold out.

The retreat will feature scholars Sheikh Hamza Yusuf, Sheikh Muhammad Ninowy, Imam Zaid Shakir, Sheikh Mokhtar Maghraoui, Imam Mohammed Magid (Imam of ADAMS Center and Vice-President of ISNA), and Sheikha Zainab Alwani (of ADAMS Center and member of the Fiqh Council of North America).

According to organizers, the scholars will "examine both the external and internal dimensions of the Qur’an and share their reflections and commentary on many verses that now, more than ever, require a renewed understanding and application."

Curriculum topics are:

  • Inner Dimensions of The Qur'an
  • Lessons from Qasas al-Qur'an
  • The Qur'anic Merits of the Prophet
  • The Heart of the Qur'an: Reflections from Surah Ya-seen
  • O You Who Believe!: The Call To the Believers in The Qur'an

Babysitting is available.

Over the past two weeks, organizers of 'Pearls of the Qur'an' have frequently updated Al-Madina Institute's website with a counter announcing the number of seats left -- becoming fewer and fewer each time.  A waiting list is available for those who missed registration but would still like to attend.
