The State of Liberty Sackboy for LittleBigPlanet. In celebration of America's Independance Day for 4th of July.

Known as the "Sacktue of Liberty", Media Molecule, developer of the hit PlayStation 3 customizable platform game LittleBigPlanet, is celebrating America's Independance Day with a special Statue of Liberty Sackboy costume download!

Isn't he just the cutest thing!

The special costume will be released on July 2nd, so you can celebrate 4th of July just a little bit early! Be sure to snatch it up, cause like all holiday-releated LittleBigPlanet outfits, this one will only be available for a limited time!

The "Sacktue of Libery" costume features the iconic crown and robe from the Statue of Liberty, including the famous torch of enlightenment, complete with glowing flames of fabric!

In case you don't live in America, or aren't that knowledgeable about these holiday thingys, here is some info on the famous holiday and the Statue of Liberty itself:

The Statue of Liberty (officially titled Liberty Enlightening the World) was a gift from France to the United States of America in 1886 to commemorate the centennial of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence. Sculpted by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, the 93m (305ft) high statue’s internal structure was engineered by Maurice Koechlin (designer of the Eiffel Tower). It is now internationally recognised as a symbol of the United States of America.

So what are your plans for 4th of July? Will it include any LittleBigPlanet playing?
