Just today, Tor announced the launch of its online bookstore, catering to readers of all speculative fiction genres. A huge range of science fictin and fantasy books (not just from Tor, but from most major publishers) are now available, broken down into categories such as Vampires,  Anthologies, Graphic Novels & Comics, and much more. Whatever your interest, you will have little trouble finding an engaging read here.

This also isn't your average store that just throws up a bunch of new releases in the hopes that readers will randomly find one or two they like. Tor has taken big strides in building a speculative fiction community, whether through blogs, forums and otherwise. With this in mind, Tor has created a Special Picks section, where the books featured there are ones that come highly recommended from this growing community of readers and writers. So when you go to browse the selection, even though some might not match your specific tastes, you can have the confidence that these titles are ones that have caught the eye of your peers, as well as the authors you already love. So it's a good bet you'll find some new ones to enjoy.

Read the official announcement here, and then start browsing the store.
