Brandon Sanderson

This is a public service announcement for both those folks living in the Denver area and who are fans of Brandon Sanderson and/or Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.

During his nationwide tour to celebrate the release of The Gathering Storm, the third-to-last in the WoT series, Sanderson's next stop will bring him to downtown Denver on Sunday, Nov. 1st. He will be signing copies of The Gathering Storm and, if time permits, holding a Q&A session. It will be held in the 16th St. Tattered Cover, and begins at 2 pm.

There are 275 free tickets available to attend. The only requirement to get one of these tickets is, between now and Sunday, you need to purchase a copy of The Gathering Storm from any Tattered Cover location. The ticket will admit you to the event, and also assign you a numbered spot in the signing line. Usually, during similar events, Tattered Cover pipes audio throughout the building, so even if you don't make it into the actual room, you should hear what's going on.

There will be a team of Storm Leaders helping to facilitate the event, so if you make it and have any questions, be sure to keep an eye out for them. Until then, enjoy this interview from Tor with Brandon Sanderson and Harriet McDougal (Robert Jordan's widow and editor).

For more info: View Tattered Cover's official event info page, and keep an eye on Sanderson's website for other signing event updates.
