Today, we were off early to explore the city of Dublin, Ireland. Our first stop was at St. Patrick's Cathedral, where Jonathan Swift is buried. From there, we were off to visit Trinity College and to see the Book of Kells. While we were waiting in line, we were treated to scenes from Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, being performed on the green.
After the sightseeing tour, we had some time to ourselves to explore the city. We started at the National Museum of Ireland: Archaeology and we were able to visit the Bog People exihibit, which was creepy and cool at the same time. From the museum, we walked to St. Stephen's Green and took a break by the wa
ter there. After we were reenergized, we walked up Grafton Street, famous for its buskers. Eventually, we made our way to O'Connell Street, where we were determined to get tickets for the Dublin GhostBus. After we got the tickets, we had some time to kill, so we started by spending some time at Dr. Quirkey's Good Time Emporium. We then had dinner at Abrakebabra, where we were fortunate enough to try a strange British delicacy: the "chip butty."
Finally, it was time to board the GhostBus. The tour was fantastic and was a great way to wrap up the evening and our visit to Dublin.
