All hail Lady Gaga!!! Gaga will be in town for her “Monster Ball” tour on New Year’s Eve and on January 2nd at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami. There is no stopping this sensational force as she takes over Miami and her numerous dedicated fans will be right behind her. Tickets for the January 2nd show are currently on sale, as well as, a few tickets for the New Year’s Eve show, though there are only a few single seats left. Gaga will be rocking the roof off of the James L. Knight as she throws the city’s best New Year’s Eve party.
Tickets for her show run from $23.00 to $63.00. You are able to purchase tickets in tier 1 or tier 2 or purchase general admission tickets for the floor which run at about $63.00. There are also exclusive VIP packages for sale. The first package, the “Meet & Greet” runs at $390.00 and includes reserved seats in the first two rows, a meet and greet with a photo opportunity, pre-show hospitality, heartbeats by Lady Gaga headphones, a limited edition deluxe CD and a collectible laminate. The second VIP package is the “Hot Seat” package which is $240.00. This package includes premium reserved seats, pre-show hospitality, heartbeats by Lady Gaga headphones and a collectible laminate. Her concert is definitely worth it as she always gives a once in a lifetime concert full of dancing, singing, amazing art and drama. Her concerts tell a story just like her songs. Also, she does not lip-synch on tour like some other artists do; she sings all of her songs.
Her tour “Monster Ball,” which also features guest artists Kid Cudi and Jason Derulo, is about Gaga’s evolution as an artist and as a person. According to New York Daily News, Gaga wants to put on a show that would be the most, “beautiful, expensive looking delicious show that my fans wouldn’t have to pay tons of money for.” She calls her show a cross between a “pop-electro opera” and a “post apocalyptic house party.” I got gossebumps already! Is it December 31st yet?
As if a tour wasn’t enough, this girl is also putting out a deluxe edition CD on November 23rd which features eight new songs and all of the songs off of her hit “The Fame” CD. This CD is called the “Fame Monster” and each of the eight songs on her CD are about the different demons she has faced in her lifetime. Her new tracks include: “Bad Romance” (which is currently #2 on ITunes), “Alejandro,” “Monster,” “So Happy I Could Die,” “Speechless,” “Dance in the Dark,” “Telephone,” and “Teeth.” “Telephone” also features the sensational Beyonce and the song. “Speechless” is dedicated to her father who just had open heart surgery. Gaga stayed with her father through the entire surgery and even bought him a new heart. A super deluxe edition of her “Fame Monster” CD will be available in December for $114.98. It features a “Book of Gaga, “ a lock of Lady Gaga’s hair, a collectible puzzle, pictorials, a behind the scene look at her creative process, pull out posters, theme fanzines, a paper doll collection, 3D glasses to view Gaga visuals and a personal note from Lady Gaga. Almost a year ago we were introduced to this incredible woman with her debut CD “The Fame.” Since then, Lady Gaga has become a worldwide sensation breaking CD records and selling out concert tickets in 10 minutes. She is an inspiration to all, including myself, and I look up to her as my idol. Unlike other pop stars, she doesn’t take fame to heart. She loves and supports her fans, just as they love and support her back. She even attended the National Equality March and the Human Rights Campaign dinner to support gay rights. At the HRC dinner, she sang a beautiful rendition of John Lennon’s “Imagine.” Before her performance, she stated “I’m not going to play one of my songs. Tonight isn’t about me. Tonight is about you.” Gaga gave an inspiring, incredible speech at the National March showing her commitment to the LGBT community and she even acknowledged the younger generation and how we must work to gain full equality for all. “They say that this country is free and they say that this country is equal, but it is not equal if it is sometimes” Lady Gaga mentioned in her speech.
Lady Gaga has proven herself as a hardworking artist and I believe that she is the Madonna of the 21st century. She has a platinum selling CD, hit singles, a sold-out tour, a new CD which is going to be huger then her first and much support and love from her growing fanbase. She even has 4, 245,731 fans following her on Facebook which is more than any other artist. She also has wrote songs for other artists including the Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, Akon and the New Kids on the Block. What hasn’t this incredible woman done? She didn’t start her life the easy way and she recognizes that she has failed over and over again but says she had to fail in order to learn from her mistakes and be better at what she does. She worked as a waitress, a dancer and at night performed her songs at clubs, in order to get at where she is today.I love her crazy outfits and her wild behavior because they make her highly original. She doesn’t care what others say about her or what people think of her because she is her own person. I hope to keep seeing some amazing things come from this inspiring woman in the future. I hope you all have a chance to see this amazing, fabulous performer in concert, and I hope to see some of you at her New Years Eve concert. Lady Gaga is going to take Miami by storm.
