Whether we admit it or not, it’s easy to become afraid. And no matter how strong your faith is; how we feel, what we see and what we believe don’t always coincide. That’s why God says fear not, hundreds of times in different ways in the Bible. He’s aware that fear is a factor in our lives. But there’s a difference between feeling fear and allowing fear to control us in various situations. His fear nots aren’t condemnations against our feelings; but reminders not to let the feelings of fear drive us to passivity or damaging activities. The situations that shake us, may have aftershocks that we have deal with for some time. But no matter how long it lasts – the issue is temporary; and God will walk you through each crisis, one step at a time. When it comes to fear, most of the time, the only way out is through.  So we have to move forward, and keep on moving forward in spite of our fears; in order to lay hold of God's promises and our victories on this side of life. You, your wholeness and your future are more than worth it. :-)

"When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown...."  -- Isaiah 43:2 [NLT]

"Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me" --- Psalms 23:4  [NLT]
