Away We Go has arrived in theatres with a limited release. This is a mellow, touching film that takes you on a couples journey to find a home. Burt and Verona (played by John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph) are expecting their first child and travel the country looking for a place to lay down their roots. This film has an unbelievable cast. As they travel Burt and Verona drop in on friends and family played by Jeff Daniels, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Catherine O'Hara, Allison Janney, as well as Melanie Lynskey. John Krasinski spent a day at the plush Ritz Carlton Hotel here in San Francisco talking about the movie. John said he would have worked on Away We Go for the rest of his life because everyday was an adventure and he never knew who would be on set next. See below for the full interview.

This is a touching movie that will make you laugh, and at moments well up with tears. Another side effect of hearing Burt and Verona's story is that you somehow feel a bit better about yourself. You see what they have done and realize your life is going pretty well.

It is a chick flick, so if you are in the mood for a film that pulls on your emotions you're in luck. On the other hand, if your lady wants to see it you should go. Not only will you get the relationship points for being a trooper, you will enjoy it. Case in point; the opening scene is the two of them in bed.
