Ladies and gentleman may I have your attention please, Utah is open for the 2009-2010 ski season.  Solitude popped the cork last week when it opened up some limited terrain for the locals enjoyment.  Not to miss out on the fun, Solitude's next door neighbor, Brighton, is slated to open its lifts tomorrow.  Although only limited terrain will be open to the public,  a good time will be had by all in attendance.  Ticket prices should also be discounted to entice the eager public to join in on the excitement.  Local companies might even experience a few employees calling in "sick" if everything goes to plan.

This comes at a great time considering the potential for a moderate snow event coming up this weekend.  So grab some friends, some beers and the camera and head out there!
