High intensity, circuit workout from Jillian

Jillian Michaels is known as the “toughest trainer on TV.” But does that title really fit? She is very in your face and her style of training is not for the weak at heart. You either love Jillian or you hate her. I love her!

Jillian Michaels gained notoriety on the popular NBC show The Biggest Loser. She began her career in exercise because she was overweight before her teenage years. She weighed up to 175 pounds at one point. It was not until her mother enrolled her in a martial arts class, that her life began to change. Shortly after she dedicated herself to helping the overweight transform their lives and their bodies for the better.

Jillian is often seen screaming at her Biggest Loser contestants, pushing them to the brink of exhaustion. My favorite quote from Jillian, “You either puke, faint or die!” echoes in my ear every time I do a workout. That simply means, bring it all the way up, even beyond what you believe you are capable of and don't quit. Chances are, you will not puke, faint nor die, but you have accomplished a major goal.

Jillian has had the most winners on The Biggest Loser, so her record speaks for itself. Season after season she is given the underdogs and they prevail through the end. The season of her return (Season 4), her black team dominated the game, with her team the only final three contestants.  Part of Jillian's success is that she gets to the root of the problem, why her contestants have let their weight get out of hand.  Many black team members are seen crying out their hearts, frustrated about a past they can't change, so now they have to focus on the person they can change--themselves.

Choosing any of Jillian Michaels' workouts is like having your own in-home personal trainer. Just like on the show, in each workout she will push you to do more. “You want abs like this, they don’t come for free,” she says in 30-Day Shred.
