Spraying chemicals around my house - on the counters and windows, sinks and floors -  is not my idea of feeling clean.  Today over on msn lifestyles, they had a great list of things to use for cleaning - things you might never consider.

One of my favorites was Lemonade Kool-Aid, a package poured into your dishwasher and run through a cycle empty to remove iron and rust stains.   The site also has suggestions for dusting lamp shades with a lint roller and using baking soda to polish silver.

I love these common sense and resourceful means for household chores.  Check out all of their ideas here.
