In 185 days, 14 hours, 36 minutes and 17 seconds, Aria Resort & Casino Las Vegas will open. Or at least that’s where the countdown left off during a recent visit to the hotel and spa's website. If you go to ARIA’s website, you can see for yourself exactly how much time remains until the grand opening on December 16, 2009.
Aria is part of CityCenter, a 67 acre hotel, residence, shopping and entertainment mecca Between Bellagio and Monte Carlo on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s unimaginable that there are (were) 67 acres available anywhere on the strip, let alone between these two famed properties that are seemingly next to each other. But this is Las Vegas, anything is possible.
The 61-story, 4004 room property will feature the 80,000sq ft ARIA spa which will include 62 individual treatment rooms and three spa suites. ARIA’s luxurious spa will offer a complete menu of skincare, massage and hydrotherapy treatments.
Some of the unique features of The Spa at Aria:
- Infused salt room
- Heated-stone ganbanyoku beds (ganbanyoku means stone bath or stone sauna in Japanese)
- Co-ed balcony pool with views of the resort’s pools
Spa reservations can be made beginning in October, 2009. Accommodations can be reserved now for 12/16/09 and beyond.
