What: This is a one-day event, held rain or shine. The 12th annual Microbrewery Beer Festival, is one of the biggest beer festivals in the mid-Atlantic region.

Where: Held in the historic Kennett Square

When: Oct 10th. 2-6 pm

Who: All lovers of great tasting beer. There will be more than 45 regional microbreweries. There will be a special Connoisseur tasting from noon to 1:30pm. Children under 21 and pets are not permitted at the festival.

Tickets: Tickets are $35 and can be obtained through the website. http://www.kennettbrewfest.com/tickets.html

Food: Food vendors will be available throughout the festival. There will be a variety of foods that will pair nicely with the beer.

Entertainment: Live music by Carl Filipiak & the Jimi Jazz Band and the Sin City Band.

Directions:
From Philadelphia
Follow I-95 South to Route 322 West to Route 1 South. Follow Route 1 south past Longwood Gardens. Pass the Longwood Shopping Center and continue on Route 1 to Route 82, make a left onto Route 82, which will become Union Street. Follow Union Street to Cypress St, the 2nd Light and turn left. Go one block to Broad St and turn right. The Kennett Brewfest is 4 blocks down on the right.

From Baltimore
Follow I-95 North to Route 222 (Perryville exit). Turn right onto Route 222, which becomes route 275. Follow to Route 276, turn right onto 276 and take this for five miles to Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 North to the Kennett Square exit, Route 82. Make a right onto Route 82, which will become Union Street. Follow Union Street to Cypress St, the 2nd Light and turn left. Go one block to Broad St and turn right. The Kennett Brewfest is 4 blocks down on the right.
