As reported yesterday, there are many Oktoberfest in the US. Just in the Mid-Atlantic Region, there are nine different festivals scheduled for mid September through early October. Each festival just a little different in structure of events, but fun nonetheless. Attending these wonderful historic festivals will not only be the highlight ending of a great summer, but also allow you to understand the German-American heritage that exists in the US.

PA – Doylestown will host an Oktoberfest on the town’s Central Square on October 3rd through October 5th.  

PA - Mifflinburg is host an Oktoberfest and Polka Party at the VFW Fair grounds on Oct 2nd and 3rd.

PA – The PA Renaissance Fair at Mount Hope Estate Winery is also hosting a weekend Oktoberfest on September 27th and 28th.

PA – Philadelphia’s Cannstatter German Club hosts a Labor Day Weekend festival on September 5-7, at the Clubs park on Academy Rd.

DE – The Delaware German Club Saengerbund in Newark is hosting its annual Oktoberfest on September 18th through September 20th.

NJ – The Germania Park Club in Dover is hosting an Oktoberfest on September 19th through September 20th.

MD – Maryland State Fairgrounds is holding its annual Oktoberfest on October 10th.

MD – Frederick will host an Oktoberfest at the city’s fairgrounds on October 3rd and 4th. http://dasbestoktoberfest.com/maryland/show-info
