Bette Midler cooks up a scary costume

Halloween is a great holiday to get dressed up and pretend that you are someone or something that you are not. It can also scare the bejeezus out of you if you are afraid of vampires, werewolves, monsters, or the worst of them all, clowns!

Adults often feel a little childish dressing up but it is fun at any age. Makeshift costumes are always the best, but if you are a celebrity, you can afford the best costumes.
Sofia Monk, the Australian actress, was recently see walking around Hollywood as a lady bug, while reality TV “stars” (I use the term loosely) Heidi and Spencer Pratt paraded around as Jon and Kate Gosselin.

Traditional costumes are always good, too. Nurses, doctors, bumble bees, pumpkins are all good choices, but celebrities always seem to give them and extra sex appeal. Also, dressing up as your favorite star is another popular option. The Amy Winehouse beehive wig and dirty ballet slippers, the Elvis Pressley costume is always very popular, and this year, I am sure that one of the more bizarre and popular costumes would be Lady Gaga and her everyday crazy outfits.

The more creative the costumes, the better.

Have a Happy and safe Halloween!
