This just in from Orrville, Ohio, by way of Yahoo Finance, Smith Dairy products company has today announced a voluntary recall of its SMITH’S Tea with Lemon in the gallon size-UPC 70424 00560 Lot No. O7/07/09. The tea is being recalled because it may contain milk which is an undeclared allergen. People who are allergic to milk may be at risk for serious or even life-threatening allergic reactions if they drink this tea.

There have been no reported bad effects of this tea which was distributed in Ohio.

Smith dairy is notifying customers of the recall by mail and by phone. If you have a 1-gallon container of SMITH’S Tea with Lemon with the UPC number and date listed above, you can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. If you have questions, please call the company at 1-800-776-7076
