Being a social media junky myself, I am always on the look out for the next thing. Even if I am a little late to the party, I am still early enough that not a ton of people have heard of a service. Well recently I got an invite to momentile.com. I don't even remember signing up for a beta invite, that is just how late I am to the service. But what is momentile?

Momentile.com was created as a way to share a moment of your life each day with your friends, family or any one that wants to "stalk" you. Yes, I said stalk you, that is what they call your followers. The goal or point to the whole experience is to upload a photo a day, and then after a year have this mosaic wall that you can look at and have a summary of your year. You would then be able to do what ever you wanted to with your photo's.

It seems like a decent idea at first, I mean seriously, how hard would it be to upload a photo a day? Well that is the problem now. With so many of us jumping and trying different services, this is one that may be forgotten. I would like to think I would be able to do this simple task, but lets be realistic. Another thing that is really working against this service is their iPhone app. They have one, but it is $4.99 USD. I am sorry, but for a site that is still in beta, I am not going to pay for your app. You can upload pictures via an email they provide though, so you can use the service for free. All in all, I think momentile could be a decent service, but they need to open it up a little more. As it is right now you only get 2 invites for friends. Granted, everytime on of your friends signs up, you get 2 more. But some of your friends may not want to sign up.

If you are interested in signing up for an invite, head over to momentile.com and get on the waiting list.
