Tip number four in keeping your relationship sexy and hot is to be spontaneous!

Your first thought probably was “oh that is easy.” But if being spontaneous is easy wouldn’t you already be that way? Being predictable is easy but can also make a relationship boring. Your goal in this top ten is to spice things up. Here are some tips on being spontaneous, try them to spice your relationship up.

• Take suggestions. All to often someone says, “Hey let’s try this.” And our general response is “No, I have this to do.” especially if it is something you have never done before. Take a risk and try new things.
• Eliminate the boring activities in your life that don’t have value. This can increase the amount of spare time you have to do new things and be spontaneous.
• Force yourself to take interest in new things. If you get curious about something and have done a ton of research on something you are mentally preparing yourself to try that. When the opportunity arises, go for it!
Some hot and sexy things to do at home would be:
• Clean the house in lingerie or try it in nothing at all. You can do this in front of your partner or by yourself. This will start to remove inhibitions.
• Offer to do something different in bed with your partner once a week. The key is that unless it is harmful to you, you can’t say no.
• Take a last minute weekend trip together. The key here? Flip a coin to pick a direction and make no plans at all. (remember to bring an atlas so you can find your way home again).
• Try something daring. Don’t be afraid to go sky diving or base jumping if the opportunity comes about.

Deciding to be spontaneous in your relationship will help make things hot and sexy all by themselves. Our biggest fear is fear of the unknown. Overcoming that fear will make you stronger individually and as a partner.

A few words of caution:
• You may decide you love being spontaneous after you deep dive into this new world, but you can’t be spontaneous in everything or things will not get done. You need to have a good blend of planning and being spontaneous.
• Make sure you feel safe when trying new things. If you don’t feel safe and you try it anyways you might start programming yourself not to be spontaneous.
