Tsunami in South Pacific

As of this morning more than 150 people have been found dead with many more expected from a Tsunami, which struck Tuesday. The islands soon were engulfed by four tsunami waves 15 to 20 feet (4 to 6 meters) high that reached up to a mile (1.5 kilometers) inland. Several villages and resorts were devastated. Please pray for these people who are dealing with the deaths of many of their loved ones. Also pray for the expeditious clean up and relief worker who are working with the Samoan people.

Indonesian Earthquake

More than 500 people are dead and thousands more believed trapped under collapsed buildings following two powerful earthquakes in Indonesia. Thousands are believed to be trapped under the rubble over more than 500 buildings. The quake caused damage to roads and disable power and communication lines making information on the extent of damage unclear. Please pray for the speedy response of rescue and relief workers. Pray for those who have lost loved ones in this tragic disaster. Also intercede for the safety of those trapped in the rubble and debris of these crumbling buildings.

Atlanta Flooding

Continue to pray for those who have been displaced by the recent flooding. Pray that Christ will continue to be glorified by the many churches and the great Atlanta people who have been doing a stupendous job of ministering to their neighbors. Pray God will help those who can, return to their homes and businesses quickly. For those who cannot, ask that the Lord will provide for their needs.
