Rashad has the joy of trying to make sure Darrill from his team cuts back on how much he’s drinking. It’s a bit bad when you’re drinking at 8 am and before practice. Not exactly the mentality of someone who truly wants to be in the UFC. Then Darrill is talking trash to Rampage saying he’ll drop down to 205 and beat him. Then again there’s bound to be tension when you have a bunch of fighters stuck around each other so much.
At the fight selection Rashad goes with having Darrill fight against Zak. After he announces it once again Rampage and Darrill get into trash talking and tempers start flaring. Eventually Darrill went back to his spot in line and that just kept Rampage going. Finally Rashad had to step in and kind of try to ease things back down while stepping up for his fighter.
The guys in the house have at least had one common thing to bond over and that’s picking on Zak. It’s even gotten to the point where they have a pool going to see when he’s going to snap. There’s a good chance he might snap and not to mention this season has yet to have its wild child.
While training for his fight Zak ended up getting a cut above his eye. Of course Kimbo was happy about that since it gave that slight bit of hope that he’d be able to fight again. Although Zak’s coaches fear that if the cut comes open during the fight that Zak will give up.
The next day at practice Rashad and his coaches saw the poster that Rampage’s team had made to make fun of Team Rashad. Although Rampage’s joke backfired a bit since Rashad and his coaches thought it was funny. Rashad decided to take it down to avoid Darrill seeing it and losing focus from his fight. That was probably a good idea to avoid another Darrill and Rampage episode.
The fight started with both men delivering a good deal of punches. It then turned into a bit of a clench battle against the fence. Zak was able to get in a few solid uppercuts before Darrill delivered a few knees to the head and started unloading some punches. Eventually Zak dropped down to go for one of Darrill’s knees. Darrill tried to get out of it but Zak was able to trip him up and be in the top position. Despite being on the bottom Darrill was able to start going for a submission while Zak tried to deliver some ground and pound. In the end Darrill was able to choke Zak out.
Zak and Darrill might have been seen as two of the weaker fighters but they put on one of the better fights so far this season. Team Rashad still regains control after winning yet another fight. Could we see Rashad’s team go 8 and 0 or will someone on Team Rampage be able to pull off a win? Check out the new episode Wednesday at 10:00PM on Spike TV to see if the winning by Team Rashad continues or not.
