The Michael Jackson Memorial service promises to be one of the largest, most televised events in television history. Sure to break all records, the world will tune in to say good-bye to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. With live coverage from major networks, pay channels, and the Internet, the world will tune in to pay their respects and remember Michael Jackson.
The ceremony begins with a private ceremony by the Jackson family. They have already been spotted at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. The family kept Michael Jackson’s final burial place secret, but the camera crews witnessed a hearse and spotted family members, including a woman who looked strikingly like Janet Jackson, driving away from the cemetery. The private ceremony will be held at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time. It is believed that this will be when Michael Jackson is buried.
A police escort will bring the Jackson family from the Forest Lawn Cemetery to the Staples Center, where the Memorial will be held. It is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Tim, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Many network stations, however, will be airing coverage live, well before the public Memorial begins. CNN is holding live coverage, that began at 3:00 a.m. Pacific, 6:00 a.m. Eastern. They will also broadcast behind the scenes updates on Twitter.
