Jimmy Fallon to emcee concert with Foo Fighters at White House on 4th of July

Jimmy Fallon will be emceeing a special Fourth of July concert from the South Lawn of the White House, at 7:00 p.m. July 4, 2009. The concert precedes the special event ‘A Capitol Fourth’ that kicks off at 8:00 p.m. President Obama will open the concert with remarks and will feature the Foo Fighters and Michelle Branch. In attendance will be the USO as they will be honoring the service men and women, as well as their families. The concert follows a special luncheon the President will have with approximately 1200 service men and women. The fireworks shows will begin at approximately 9:10 p.m. and will be broadcast live on PBS. You can also watch the special concert with Jimmy Fallon online live at: White House Live.
