Charlotte Symphony Pops Orchestra’s Celebrate America
Music begins at 7:15 (guest should plan to arrive early). Albert-George Schram leads the orchestra in patriotic favorites, including “America the Beautiful,” “Armed Forces Salute,” Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture,” and Sousa’s “Liberty Bell March.” The concert culminates in an impressive array of fireworks. Red, White & Boom!
Family-friendly activities will run from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. Sweetbriar Jam, a young and talented bluegrass band will play from 6:30-7:30 p.m. as well as Band of Gold kicking off at 8:00 until 9:15 p.m. show beginning at 9:30 (weather permitting) with music track simulcast on WKKT 96.9 Kat Country.
Bring a non-perishable food item to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank and your name is automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $500 US Airways Gift Card! There will be stadium and grass seating to watch the fireworks blast off at 9:30 p.m. so get there early for a prime spot! $5.00 to park at Memorial Stadium. FREE admission!
Night of Fire at Carowinds
Enjoy a day at Charlotte's Carowinds, celebrating the 4th of July. Guests can partake in an Independence Day meal and enjoy a fireworks display. Patriotic Meal 12 - 3 p.m., Fireworks 10 p.m.

Birkdale Village's 4th of July Celebration
Come show your patriotism when Birkdale Village and the Town of Huntersville host the 7th Annual Fourth of July Celebration on Saturday, July 4th. Activities will take place in Birkdale Village from 10am-1pm. There will be bike decorating, face painting, a clown bounce, children’s art provided by Children’s Arts Project, a parade, a water fight between the fire stations, music, food, and a whole lot of fun!!! Davidson Parks & Rec puts on this annual 4th of July celebration complete with a parade and live music by Rough Draft.

Charlotte Knights vs. Durham Bulls
The skies will light up in Fort Mill with the Southeast's largest fireworks display following an All-American baseball game between the Charlotte Knights and the Durham Bulls. Game starts at 7:15 followed by fireworks.
Lake Wylie Fantastic Fireworks Display
There is nothing quite like fireworks over water. Enjoy the scene over Lake Wylie which straddles North and South Carolina just south of Charlotte. Buster Boyd Boat Landing S.C. Hwy. 49 at Lake Wylie, 9:30 p.m. Free.
The Crowne Plaza Charlotte and 96.1 The Beat Celebrate the 4th
The Beat will broadcast live from 6 - 11 p.m. The Crowne Plaza Charlotte hotel will host a party on the parking roof deck with 96.1 The Beat broadcasting live. The roof deck will feature an awesome view of the fireworks at nearby Memorial Stadium.

Kannapolis Intimidators Game & Fireworks
The Kannapolis Intimidators will be hosting a 4th of July game at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium with post-game fireworks sponsored by the City of Kannapolis. Gates open at 6pm with the game starting at 7:05pm.
