With school out, MGM Mirage is offering up discounts so that teachers can make the most out of their summer break.
The Luxor is offering free tickets to both Bodies … The Exhibition and Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition every Tuesday through Aug. 25. Bodies is the world famous exhibit of actual human bodies and organs, with 13 full bodies and more than 260 organs and partial specimens. The 25,000-square-foot Titanic exhibit showcases various items from the ill-fated ocean liner, including a piece of the hull and an unopened bottle of 1900 champagne. Teachers just need to RSVP to iarmenta@prxi.com and present a Clark County School District ID, paystub or homeschooling letter of intent at any Luxor will-call window.
At Mandalay Bay’s Shark Reef Aquarium, teachers can check out the $60 million facility’s educational program for free, along with a guest. The aquarium is a true gem in Vegas, with more than 2,000 animals, including sea turtles, sawfish, and of course, sharks; along with a petting tank where you can get up close and personal with rays and starfish. Area teachers just need to present their CCSD ID at the box office.
If that all sounds too much like work, then head over to the Mirage for Terry Fator and His Cast of Thousands for 25 percent off regular tickets with the presentation of a CCSD ID or paystub. Fator’s show stars the winner of America’s Got Talent performing celebrity singing impersonations with amazing ventriloquism. Check in at the box office or call 702-792-7777.
