With music based games growing in popularity, you would be hard pressed to find a gamer who doesn't have either Rock Band, Rock Band 2, or Guitar Hero World Tour. If you are planning on getting one of the many accessories or peripherals that go with these games as a gift this holiday season, good luck. The sheer number of things that go along with these music games can make finding the right gift a daunting task. Luckily you've come across this "top 10 gifts for music based games" guide.

  • Rock Band Cymbals    The Rock Band Cymbals are a great addition to the Rock Band drum kit. Perfect for a drummer who is looking for an extra challenge or that added touch of realism. The cymbals come as either single or   double.
  • Guitar Stand - 39.99*    The React Guitar stand is great for keeping your equipment organized. The stand can hold up to four guitars, a mic, and some drum sticks.
  • Ion Audio Drum kit - 299.99*    The Ion Audio Drum kit is top of the line in terms of rhythm game peripherals. This drum kit features a wrap around design and more naturally (and realistically) positioned drum heads. Three cymbals, noise canceling drum heads, and a bouncier feel than the RB or GH drums round out this kits features.
  • Blockhead Bass Pedal - 29.99*    With a stronger spring and more robust overall design the Blockhead Bass Pedal is the best option for when the original RB or GH bass pedal breaks down.
  • Blockhead Duet Set Microphone - 24.99*    The Duet Set Microphone comes with Mics and a USB splitter adding a second audio input to Rock Band and/or Guitar Hero World Tour. Add another person to the band, avoid wait time at the next RB/GH party, or just work on your harmonizing skills.
  • BD&A Guitar Strap - 8.99*    If the regulation guitar strap that came with the guitar peripheral doesn't quite capture the essence of the player, it may be time to invest in one of these.
  • React Guitar Case - 12.99*    The React Guitar Case will give a more professional look to any serious rocker. Carry your ax in style.
  • Branded Drum Sticks - 8.99* - 11.99*   Drum sticks can only take so much abuse and playing with a fractured stick (or your hand) is next to impossible. Back up pairs are everything a gift should be, Cheap and useful. Rock Band branded sticks   Guitar Hero branded sticks
  • Stage Kit - 99.99*    Do you know someone who truly rocks? Maybe you are that person and want something for yourself this holiday. The Stage Kit offers flashing lights and a friggin' fog machine to make the next round of RB/GH extra epic.
  • Guitar Skins - 9.99*    Sometimes the decals that come with the guitar controllers don't offer enough for real customization. Perhaps a less cluttered, more cohesive look is desired. Guitar Skins has your answer. Rock Band guitar skins   Guitar Hero guitar skins
