The Holocaust Memorial Museum will remain closed today in honor of the security guard who was gunned down yesterday. Stephen T. Johns was fatally wounded when 88-year-old James von Brunn walked into the museum's entrance and opened fire.

Johns was taken to George Washington University Hospital where he later died. Flags outside of the museum have been lowered to half-staff. The museum will re-open Friday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m.
