Now that the star-studded, moving memorial paying tribute to superstar Michael Jackson has ended, his family must determine where his final resting place will be.
According to Radar Online, the family is warring with one another about the location, and whether Jackson should be buried, or if he should be cremated.
The Web site claims his brother Jermaine, wants him to be buried at his fantasy home called Neverland in Northern California. This scenario is not likely, since local laws prevent burials to take place on private property.
There is speculation Jackson might be cremated, with his ashes spread across Neverland. But, his mother, Katherine, doesn’t want his body or ashes anywhere near the property.
A source told Radar Online that “Michael left Neverland for good, never to return. He felt violated by law enforcement after his molestation trial. He felt this place he had built had been tainted. Katherine continues to be her son’s protector even after his death.”
Jackson’s body was taken from the memorial site at Staples Center in Los Angeles, but it is still unclear exactly where he will finally be placed to rest in peace.
