Carrie Prejean claims her Miss California USA crown was taken away because pageant officials “don’t agree with the stance” she took on gay marriage.
“They don’t like me. From Day One they wanted me out, and they got what they wanted,” said Prejean.
Pageant officials claim Prejean was fired because she did not show up at scheduled events and was uncooperative.
Prejean told TMZ the officials wanted her to pose for Playboy and appear on the NBC reality show, “I’m a Celebrity… Get me Out of Here,” along with the likes of Spencer and Heidi Pratt, American Idol finalist Sanjaya, and self-proclaimed supermodel Janice Dickinson.
Prejean was told the Playboy offer would pay her $140,000 for semi-nude poses.
Keith Lewis, a pageant official told TMZ that Prejean asked them to pass along all offers to her, so that is what they did.
Prejean said she does not understand how Donald Trump could say she treated people badly. “I was very respectful of all people even when they slandered me and humiliated me. I have not once stooped down to their level.”
