Bill Seebeck was ecstatic when the slot machine he was playing on Sunday hit the jackpot—$166 million.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa was less than enthusiastic, telling Seeback his win was a mistake because the machine malfunctioned. Thus, the casino refused to pay Seebeck his prize.

Seebeck was not given the news immediately after the machine displayed the winning number of $166,666,666.65. Instead, casino managers roped off the machine and Seebeck spent the next hour dreaming about how he would spend his fortune.

The casino then broke the news to Seebeck that the Ultimate Party Spin machine had malfunctioned because the top prize given it is a mere $99,000.

CBS News reports that when a machine malfunctions, the policy of the casino is that no payout will be made—not even the $99,000 that would have been the maximum win.

Nevertheless, according to Fox News, after Seebeck’s story became headlines, he was approached by the casino regarding a settlement.

Although Seebeck is not allowed to speak about the terms of his agreement with the casino, he told Fox that the amount he's being given is “something he can live with.” The only thing the Hard Rock is willing to say is that with Seebeck's $1.50 bet, the maximum he should have won was $2500.
