Charla Nash reveals disfigured face to Oprah after brutal chimp attack (link to photos)
Charla Nash, the woman who was left disfigured after being attacked by a chimpanzee in February, revealed her face for Oprah on Wednesday.
The brutal attack left Nash without her nose, lips, hands, and sight. She told ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ audience what her life was now like after being blinded. Nash is only able to eat through a straw and has difficulty breathing.

Although the attack and its aftermath appear painful, she told Oprah she is not in any pain. Nash also said she wears a veil everyday so she won’t “scare people.”
Despite the horrific trauma she has endured, Nash said she is not angry and is focused on healing. Sadly, one of her biggest regrets is not being able to spend time with her teenage daughter who is a high school senior. Nash said she would love to help her daughter choose a prom dress, but is unable to do so.
In addition, Nash warned others about the dangers that exotic animals can pose to humans.
