Let us begin by setting apart the differences between being a member of a Faith and having faith. As a member of a Faith one has the opportunity to show up in a community and worship with other members. As a member of a Faith certain philosophies and dogmatic traditions that are a part of that Faith’s ritualistic service can become comfortable practices in which that member takes part. As a member of a Faith one is able to reach out to others in fellowship and feel a part of something great and holy. For all of these reasons different Faiths and Faith based communities a welcoming, friendly, and a part of many individuals Spiritual Evolution (remember there is power in numbers). Yet, these Faiths do not always contain members who can demonstrate faith. In short: because you are a member of a Faith does not mean that you, yourself, have faith. Hebrews 11:1 in the New World Translation of the Bible states: "Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld." The same verse is translated in the KJV of the Bible as: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." The New International Version of the Bible translates this passage as: "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." I like this last one the best; it is simpler and conveys the message more directly. Still, all three versions of this passage say the same thing: That faith is the absolute certainty of knowing that what is hoped for will come into manifestation. Anyone who has attended a particular Faith based community can clearly see that by this definition of faith a majority of its members are lacking in this type of conviction.

Faith is the substance through which we create. Faith is the force behind our prayers. It is the energy that starts the creation process. Our absolute certainty in what we hope for is our God-Conscious, our Inner Divinity, calling into existence from the non-existence what is now going to be; in fact, the translation of Amen is literally "Let it be so." This is the power of prayer. Jesus demonstrated this level of faith often. Jesus was able to do this so consistently because he moved beyond doubt. Jesus no longer saw himself as separate from God, which is the same message that he tried to pass on to us: That we are in perfect union with God (Our Father). We share the same creative ability as the Creator itself. We can and have created who we are, what we do for work, whom we attract as friends, how much we make, what we believe ourselves to be, and what we choose to be from here on out. We have created ourselves by our faith in what we know to be true about ourselves: we have come to believe with an absolute certainty and knowing that we are what we are, so it has come into manifestation in this reality.

I am here to tell you that if you don’t like what you see, you have the power to change it. As you have created this reality for yourself, you can create another. Change your thoughts, become absolutely sure about a different you, move with certainty about the new you, and take action knowing that you are already that which you wish to become. Watch as your faith demonstrated is the creation of your new reality.

It is through our faith that we are healed.
