Her new book has started a feud, and gotten the ire of fans and haters. The announcement that Sarah Palin will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show Nov. 16 has some of the supporters of the former Alaska governor upset, as are some of the talk show queen's. Palin takes the hot seat at Harpo a day before her new book "Going Rogue: An American Life" hits the streets.
Oprah, a staunch Obama supporter since before the election, was roundly criticized for having the president on her show and not Palin before the Nov. '08 elections.
This is a coup for Oprah as Palin hasn't spoken to the media or given interviews since her surprise resignation from her position as Alaska governor in July.
The book is already #1 on Amazon.com. The book sells for $28.99 but is available for pre-order for $9 on Amazon.
Palin's book has bumped Dan Brown's "Lost Symbol" from the #1 spot on Amazon. It appears to have caused a feud as he is none too happy.
"I didn't spend 7 years slaving over noetics and symbology just so some glacier-snipe could dictate to a ghost writer for three weeks and wallow in first place."
Brown gave an extensive interview and glimpse into his writing domain last month, explaining the work he put into "Lost Symbol."
