The end of the summer in Florida welcomes the opening of farmers markets throughout Tampa Bay.   This series of reviews of Tampa Bay’s Best Farmers Markets considers key elements like:  location, quality of goods, customer service, and variety.

This week’s highlighted market is Steve’s Produce.

Steve’s Produce is a family owned and operated market providing the area with fresh produce for over 20 years.  The market is over 2000 sq ft including a large refrigerated area for fresh seafood like jumbo shrimp and grouper and Greek specialties such as feta cheese, spinach pie, baklava, and imported olives.  The market supports local farmers by selling fresh and locally grown produce and foods and offering the best prices around.

What sets them apart:  The produce is rotated and maintained throughout the day keeping appearance and quality at a top-notch level.  Family pride is the key element in this market in everything from great customer service to quality of goods 7 days a week.  The market is immaculately clean, maintains a quaint road side quality, yet boasts a huge selection of seasonally produce.
