Only Rodarte can put tall thin goulishly pale robotesque models on a runway and convince us that they are the most beautiful creatures ever to model the most awe evoking, yet, of spring collections. With seven years using Swarovski Crystals in Rodarte designs, the focus is still on the bling, but in the most subtle of ways. The show is theatrical and fun to watch as Rodarte wows the audience in this long anticipated presentation. And keep an eye on the shoes. British designer Nicholas Kirkwood is famous for creating spectacular pieces of art with skyrocketing heel heights that can give the most experienced of models a challenge.
