Spa Review: Advanced skincare at European MesoCentre in Tampa Bay

European MesoCentre is centrally located in the heart of the rapidly growing city of Lutz, Florida of Tampa Bay.  Lutz was rated in the 2004 list of the 100 Best Places/Cities to live in the United States by MSN.com and it’s easy to see why. 

The area is an interesting blend of Outlet shopping intermixed with several shopping centers, restaurants and coffee shops surrounded by a relaxed rural landscape.  If you’re lucky enough to live there you’ll be delighted having European MesoCentre so close, if not, it’s a beautiful drive and well worth an afternoon spent in this lovely area while visiting the European MesoCentre.

Shaded by sprawling laurel oaks, European MesoCentre is as inviting on the outside and as the staff is welcoming on the inside.   Prerequisite forms are given to new clients before meeting with a Personal Image Consultant who will guide an informal conversation to openly discuss concerns and questions about the various procedures available.    While chatting, a variety of photographed results showing what can be achieved at the Centre using Mesotherapies, Elos Technologies included in the Triniti Facial, the ReFirme Skin Tightening Procedure and Photo Facial Rejuvenations IPL Technologies. 

Botox and fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptura and Radiesse are all frequently used in combination with the skin rejuvenations or just as individual treatments at European MesoCentre.  Also offered is a wide variety of Mesotherapy/Lipotherapy Nutritional Supplements such as ChromeMate, TheraSlim and that encourage the reduction of cellulite and a host of topical skincare products such as Ampollas, Phytoactiv, Gel Reductor & Eau Thermale Avene. 

Treatment prices, how many treatments would be required to obtain desired results and payment options available are all discussed at this time as well.  The Consultant also shared that bringing a girlfriend to the consultation is perfectly acceptable and encouraged—many women like having a second pair of ears with them. 

After the consult, Beatrix Frasure, a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and founder of European MesoCentre will take over.  Beatrix Frasure brings a warm, caring, feeling to the room and is a woman who listens with a keen ear and truly cares about the needs of her clients.  Her motto is live, love and laugh.  Her beautifully evened skin tone is testimony to her knowledge of skincare and the technological advancements she uses in her practice.  Beatrix stresses the importance of realistic expectations and natural looking results, and opens the conversation to address all concerns and questions before beginning procedures. 

The relaxed, cozy treatment room had a lumbar support table to add comfort during procedures and this added touch was duly noted and appreciated.   A combination of Elos ReFirme and Matrix IR Wrinkle Reduction lasers was the scheduled procedure.  A light topical numbing cream and a cool gel were applied just before the procedure to avoid any possible discomfort.

The eye area was targeted with the Refirme which is combined bi-polar radio frequency and light energies of El?s Technology that precisely heats the dermal tissue within the target treatment area. This stimulates collagen production and produces a firming effect in lax skin.   Amazingly, a positive result was noticeable with the first treatment, and even though more treatments will achieve the optimum look desired.   A painless procedure that took less than 15 minutes.

Next used is the Elos Matrix IR and targeted the nasolabial area.   Again, there was an immediately noticeable result of tighter, firmer skin.  The Matrix IR Wrinkle Reduction procedure featured the revolutionary El?s™ Fractional technology, which precisely heats the connective tissue within the targeted treatment area. This stimulates collagen production and produces a firming effect.  Excitingly, three weeks later shows even more improvement.
